I am a sucker for a cute maxi skirt. I made this skirt when I first started sewing and it's been in my wardrobe rotation ever since. I love this fabric. It's a linen fabric with a little stretch that I purchased from Joann's a few years ago. If you're looking for something that you can dress up or down and be comfortable, a maxi skirt is a definite option.

DIY Harem Pants with Pocket and Sash
I love my floral!!! I am at it once again with my brightly colored floral printed fabric. I found this beauty at Joann's Fabric. Luck for me, it was the last two yards on the bolt. This fabric feels so amazing. It's a rayon blend with a four-way stretch, which makes comfortable to wear. The drape on it makes it perfect for a pair of Harem Pants.
This DIY was so simple and easy and did not require a pattern. You simple measure your waist and ankle, do a little math and draft on fabric, or paper if you want a pattern for later use.

Oldie but Goodie Colored Blocked Skirt with Pockets
It's hump day and I'm feeling blue! I made this skirt last year after being inspired by Sweet Verbena's colored blocked dress. It took a little time and measuring, but it turned out pretty good!

DIY Circle Skirt Tutorial + Birthday Celebration
Yesterday I celebrated 28 years of life, YAY!!! This year I wanted to keep it simple and do a date with just my hubby, so we celebrated with dinner at Luck 32 and a photo session afterwards! Their outdoor dinning is so serene and naturally decorated with greenery that I had to take advantage and get pictures of my circle skirt I put together.
