DIY Pleated Leopard Skirt with Pockets Remix

Happy Monday!  Is it Spring yet...? It sure feels like it in Texas.  This week I pulled out some previous DIYs and restyled them.  I made this skirt last winter and paired it with some ankle boots and a sweater (HERE).  I decided this time that I would go with a more comfortable, cool look.  It felt so good to be able to wear a skirt and tank in this weather.

My Version of Vogue's V1314 Pattern

Talk about simple and comfy! This dress is so easy, even for a novice.  This is probably one of the most easiest patterns I've ever worked with, seriously!

DIY Self Drafted Wide Leg Pants

Happy holidays!!! With Christmas just a few days away, I thought I would leave you guys with a special DIY gift.  Today's post is a pair of wide leg pants that I started right before I moved to Texas.  I finally had a chance to finish and wear them out.  I took great pictures, but the wind was not working with me, so I could not get photos of the pants like I wanted to.  These pants are super comfy, so I'm sure I will wear them again, possibly in the spring. I will also make another printed pair soon!

DIY McCall's M6844 Inspired Floral Blazer

Happy Monday!!! So, I have a confession to make...I am obsessed with sewing.  I literally spent my entire weekend sewing and planning my DIYs for the next couple of weeks.  I have so many ideas and I can't wait to share them.

DIY Floral Top Vogue Pattern 8977

Welcome back, welcome back...welcome back!!!!!! I'm so happy to be sewing and blogging again! So, the last time I blogged was in June....a lot has happened in my life since then.  Back in May, my husband and I decided to move to Houston, TX.  We literally sold the majority of our items (minus my fabric and sewing machine :)) and prepared to  travel 17 hours from NC.

DIY Gathered Skirt with Split

Hey guys! This look was inspired by Liz at Cotton and Curls.  I figured out a way to make this skirt in a very simplified way and it turned out awesome!  It literally took me 30 minutes to make this skirt. My husband was in shock because it usually takes me hours or days to complete a DIY.

MiMi G Inspired Maxi Skirt

It's Friday and I'm elated!!! So, I have not been able to post lately because I lost my USB cord that transfers my photos to my computer, bummer!!! My husband and I searched high and low for it, but it seems to have grown legs and walked away.  So in the mean time, I have this little USB port that I can stick my memory chip into to get all of my photos.  I have to admit, I think I might like this a whole lot better than the cord.  It's way more convenient.
