I am a sucker for a cute maxi skirt. I made this skirt when I first started sewing and it's been in my wardrobe rotation ever since. I love this fabric. It's a linen fabric with a little stretch that I purchased from Joann's a few years ago. If you're looking for something that you can dress up or down and be comfortable, a maxi skirt is a definite option.
Unfortunately, I did not take photos of this tutorial when I did it, but there are many tutorials available online that are easy to follow for beginners. I will post a few below for those who are interested in making one.
