DIY Maxi Wrap Dress

I love this dress!!! I was blog browsing yesterday and came across this tutorial on Cotton and Curls' blog.  I love her blog because she makes DIYing super easy.  Using commercial patterns can be frustrating for a novice seamstress. Trust me, I've had my share of mess ups with patterns, even the easy ones!

DIY Sweatpants with Sash

Happy Spring!! I wish I could've said that last week, but unfortunately I was suffering from the inconsistent weather that we've been having here.  I am happy to say that I am feeling the effects of Bronchitis waning and I am eager to post my DIY for you guys!

DIY Leopard Pleated Skirt with Pockets

It's Friday...Yay!!  I've been a little under the weather this week, so I can't wait to get some rest and get well!
Today's look was inspired by a pleated chevron skirt I found on Pinterest. I tried making a pleated skirt before, and it was cute but, it didn't look the way I'd envisioned.  So, I decided I would take another shot at it.  After researching, I came across a few tutorials that seemed easy enough, so off to Hobby Lobby I went.

DIY Tee Shirt Maxi Dress

Happy Hump Day!!!! Today's DIY is a tee shirt maxi dress I made using an old tee shirt as a pattern this past summer. The weather here is a little gloomy so, today I was thinking comfy, quick and cute.  It is something about a dress that makes a woman feel super sexy and sassy.  I love wearing dresses because you can either dress them up or down.  Today I decided to dress it down accessorizing with a brown textured belt, cute leopard flats, and a long cardigan from Forever21.  I could have done a more formal look with a blazer and pumps, but I decided to call the dogs off, lol.

Not Quite Spring Floral Pencil Skirt

I have been on an unintentional sewing hiatus due to moving.  This weekend I had a little bit of time to finish unpacking so I was able to put my sewing machine up, which felt amazing. I spent the whole day finishing diy projects and making this cute little skirt.
